🛟 Coastguard helicopters and lifeboats were searching for two girls reportedly in difficulty in the water off Portobello beach yesterday around 5pm. The Coastguard response was stood down at around 8.55pm. - Keiran Fleming, STV News.

🚔 Police are investigating reports that a man linked to organised crime was the target when a pick-up truck was driven into a house a near Portobello Golf Course on Tuesday. - Keiran Fleming, STV News.
