đ The Edinburgh Womenâs Fiction Festival is on in Morningside this weekend, featuring panel talks, workshops, performances and more. - Itâs a super line up.
Now in their third year, the festivalâs organisers say:
âThe Edinburgh Womenâs Fiction Festival is a literary festival celebrating writing for, by, and about women. We are an inclusive event and welcome everyone who finds joy in reading womenâs fiction - commercial, romance, historical, literary, book club and beyond. Our festival showcases authors of genres that are often overlooked, and our aim is to give readers the opportunity to connect with their favourite writers.â
đ§ Thereâs a free event next month focused on helping creative people deal with burnout. Organised by Creative Edinburgh, it aims to go âbeyond the buzzwordâ and offer practical solutions. Itâs at North Edinburgh Arts Macmillan Hub on Tuesday 7 October from 10am. - Learn more about Octoberâs Creative Circles event here.
âź âThe Future of Scottish Arts Journalismâ is the topic for the next in the Creative Sectors series on Monday 13 October from 5.30pm at CodeBase. (If youâre going, I shall see you there - please say hello!) - Tickets are here.
