🎤  Mercury Prize nominee Nadine Shah plays the Assembly Rooms on Sunday as part of Burns & Beyond festival. She’s currently supporting Depeche Mode on an arena tour. - Tickets for the Assembly Rooms are here. Nadine said:

Edinburgh is very quickly becoming one of my favourite cities. I’ve always had a real soft spot for it. Careful, treat me too well and I may just end up moving there. I look forward to seeing you all at the show.”

🔊  This year is shaping up to be one of the biggest in the history of Cowgate venue Sneaky Pete’s. The line-up of DJs booked in is genuinely world class, including Skream, Midland, Moxie, living legend Norman Jay MBE and Ross From Friends.
⮑  The team at Sneaks have also put together a bunch of special shows for this year's Independent Venue Week, with acclaimed Scottish acts including Carla J Easton, Samuel Nicholson, Midnight Ambulance, Brothertiger, MF Tomlinson and hot newcomers Queen of Harps, Conscious Pilot and more. - Tickets for all shows are here.

🇺🇦  It’s also a big week at the Bongo Club. Rave 4 Ukraine is on Thursday night. - See the rest of the club’s plans here and get tickets here. Organisers say:

“They say Kyiv's rave scene is akin to Berlin – we invite you to find out as we pay homage to Ukrainian techno while contributing to a good cause. Joining us from Ukraine and making their Bongo debut will be VEERA, DJ Nikita, and Cyberplasticc, while R4UA resident EVSKA will return for her third set with us, bringing the best of the Polish techno scene. 70% of profits made via ticket sales will go to Ukrainian NGO Ptahy which provides tactical medicine kits and medical aid to military medics on the front lines, medical care for victims of Russian occupation, and support for hospitals, clinics, and dispensaries. Join us to rave for Ukraine and fundraise for an important cause!

🇵🇸  Last week’s OK Pal Records fundraiser for Medical Aid for Palestinians raised £2,808. The label said: “Our gross take was £3,001, so your ticket sales and raffle ticket sales actually pushed us just over 3k! But we had some expenses and fees to cover. But not very much or very many! We basically put that night on for £193.” - Cracking photos by Andy Catlin and a five-star review are in The Skinny.
